Privacy

Aurisity is first-party web analytics for site owners. Visidelic is the Delic Network edition. Aurisity is the same product for everyone else. We do not run an ads graph and we do not sell visitor data.

What a pageview stores

• Path (the page)
• Hostname
• Referrer host, if the browser sent one
• Country, region, and city looked up from the IP, then the IP is discarded
• A daily visitor hash used only to approximate uniques for that calendar day
• Time, stored in UTC and shown in the timezone the owner set

What we do not do

• No cookies on the public site, if the owner only loads our script
• No session replay, heatmaps, or keylogging
• No fingerprint soup (no canvas, fonts, or device-id mash)
• No cross-site profile of a person
• No selling or renting visitor data
• No advertising network

The visitor hash

Uniques are approximate. Each UTC day we hash a rotating salt, a server pepper, the site key, the IP, and a coarse user-agent. We store a short hash, not the IP. The salt changes every day, so yesterday’s hash cannot be joined to today’s. This is not a permanent visitor id.

How long we keep it

Default is 24 months so an owner can compare this year to last year. The owner may keep up to 60 months. After that window, pageviews and daily totals for that property are deleted.

Who can turn it off

The site owner can disable tracking on the property. The collector then accepts the request and writes nothing. Removing the snippet from the site also stops new hits. Instadelic tenants can use the Theme field (and later, auto-inject) the same way.

Accounts

Owners sign in with email and a password, or a one-time link we send to that email. Email is the stable person id across Delic apps later. We do not merge the Scribedelic, Lyridelic, and Instadelic databases into this one.
